Farm Happenings for June 9, 2021

All the summer crops are ready at once! We are catching up and trellising the beans while the cucumbers are fruiting before we can trellis them. We will finishing trellising them this week to get them off the ground and hopefully get an extended harvest from the ones in the tunnel. Peppers have also started fruiting out of nowhere. No fruit on my crop walk last Wednesday and suddenly a heavy set of fruit today. Looks like summer is officially here according to the vegetables! Look for the first cucumbers of the season in your boxes this week!
