Farm Happenings for June 2, 2021

We lucked out and got a little bit of much needed rain on Friday. Hopefully we will get more this coming weekend. The squash harvest has started strong and we saw our first ripe tomatoes over the weekend. We were able to get all of our okra and eggplant transplants in the ground last week. It feels like summer out here now! That being said we are happy that this week is slightly cooler than the last week. It gives us some time to harvest the last of our spring roots and brassicas. Enjoy your last strawberries as their season winds down!
