Farm Happenings for April 15, 2020

Posted on April 10th, 2020 by Rahul Anand

Thank you all for being part of our farm share this year! With everything going on with the coronavirus I want to assure you that we are taking your (and our) safety very seriously. Luckily for all of us getting your produce this way reduces points of contact significantly versus the grocery store. Due to this we are not using the reusable boxes that we had planned to use and all pickup points will be contactless.

Meanwhile on the farm the plants are growing and the sun is shining! The strawberries and garlic we planted way back in October are being harvested and will be headed to your plates. All the seedlings we started in the greenhouse early in the year are being transplanted to the field. We just built the trellises for the sugar snap peas that will be coming your way in a couple weeks and started pruning the first round of tomatoes. Its a busy time of year!

This is our first year using this platform to manage our farm share so we are learning as well. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Hope to have you all out to the farm for a tour when its safe again!
