The Seventh Week of Summer CSA Program

Posted on August 10th, 2019 by Tadd Petersen

Welcome to the seventh week of the Summer CSA program! The height of summer is here and the team has been busy carefully managing all the delicious varieties we have planned for you.  There are a few tomato plants that are ready to harvest and plenty more will be ripening in the upcoming weeks.  Tomatoes are one of our favorite parts of the summer CSA program because you can really taste the difference an honestly fresh tomato makes so we want to encourage everyone to try them once they are fully ready to harvest.  We also have rows of watermelons thriving in the summer heat and will be ready to harvest within the upcoming weeks.

The Summer CSA program has passed the halfway point and we want to take a moment and offer a sincere thank you to everyone who has supported our farm through the CSA program.  Our team realizes there are many different food sources out there and we are grateful for your commitment to our small, market farm and sustainable agriculture. We are dedicated to providing complete transparency and a high quality ingredient for you to celebrate and enjoy.  If you have any questions about how your food was grown or would like tips on how to prepare, make sure to let us know!  The best part about the CSA program is connecting with our amazing community so let us know what you think.  If you share the creative ways you use your CSA ingredients, tag us on Instagram and Facebook and we will share it with the rest of the community.

Thanks!

The Team at Seminary Hill Farm
