The Seventh Week of the Spring CSA Program

Posted on June 15th, 2019 by Tadd Petersen

Welcome to the seventh week of the Spring CSA program! It feels like this Spring CSA season is passing far too quickly and we cannot believe there is only one more week after this one. The farm is thriving and the team has been working hard out in the fields to make sure we plenty of variety for you to select from this week. It is especially sweet time of year because we have some of our very favorite seasonal varieties such as sugar snap peas and strawberries.  We harvest these items by hand each week before CSA distribution so you receive an honestly fresh, high-quality ingredient to enjoy.  If you have not already, make sure to sign up for the Summer CSA program so you can taste everything we have planned for next season!

We love getting questions from members of our community but one we probably get asked more than most is what we mean when we say we are a market farm. When we use the term Market Farm to describe our production model, we mean that we have strategic systems in place to produce many different varieties of high-quality crops on just a few acres. Our focus is not just on growing produce, it goes well beyond that. Our market farm creates a sustainable system that encourages biodiversity and provides our CSA members with both quality and diversity. We are committed to building an authentic connection from farm to fork and that is why we take great pride in offering our community the highest quality we can. Let us know what you think!  Make sure to tag us in your Instagram posts or leave us a review on Facebook.

Thanks!
