Well, it’s all downhill from here.
July 4th, for me at least, is that milestone marker in summer that signals the slow movement into fall. Hard to imagine with the heat, but the days are getting shorter.
This week we have been “flipping beds” into new crops for the fall: Napa cabbage, swiss chard, Kohlrabi, Cabbage, and more sets of candy-cane and golden beets.
I am hoping that the tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and green beans will start ripening so I can get those out to you soon! I know I am looking forward to them. Seasonal growing in Colorado!!!
