I'm writing you from the coolest place on the farm: the barn! I'm still sweating. The air is heavy. But no sun! Don't get me wrong, I love the sun. After all the rain we've been getting this season waking up to sunlight is a whole new kind of energizing. Never the less the whole farm crew is feeling the effects of this heat wave. Yesterday we were planting cucumbers and melons and it felt like we were trying to pedal a bike through hummus... The silver lining is that all the summer crops we got in late are loving this heat, so at least there's that.
