Hi all, believe it or not we are at the half way point of our season!
New on the menu this week is chicory/escarole. We trialed a small amount of this slightly bitter green this spring. Try it braised it a soup or even on the grill and make sure to let me know if you'd like more of it in the future.
Lettuce and cabbage are also making a return, perfect for your Memorial day salad or slaw.
Big news this week is we are getting in some fruit from Southern California. We'll have cherries for the CSA and a few other items at the farm stand TBD.
PS we are working with Harvie to get our adds on back on the list for Fall, so if you wanted your egg, flower, meat or bread share you'll have the option to do so soon. We weren't sold out, phew! We're also hoping to have a new protein offering!
