When It Rains It Pours

Posted on April 19th, 2021 by Annie Moore

SO MUCH RAIN! While Kentucky St seems to be recovering well, we're still sloshing through puddles and mud pits on the west bank and may end up losing a lot of crops as the water table can take a long time to recede out there. Some things that look fine right now are likely to not be able to get enough oxygen over the coming days. So it's kind of a waiting game to see just how much damage last week's storms caused.

In the meantime, we're still harvesting some beautiful crops, but not as much as we'd hope this time of the year. This means that the availability for swaps is lower than we'd like, but that's what happens after 10"+ of rain!

Enjoy the sunshine this week and we'll see you soon.
