Looking Towards a Brighter Future?

Posted on November 9th, 2020 by Annie Moore

Holy moly, these last few weeks have been a rollercoaster. While all the insanity has been going on in the world, we've been busy farming and training our apprentices how to farm. This has been a great distraction and brings us lots of hope for the future :)

This week's veggie shares are looking great, with the addition of cherry tomatoes from Faust Farm, along with Compostella's and our greens. We're also starting to harvest cauliflower and other fun fall crops, so keep an eye out for those on the menu these next few weeks.

A few other things to note:

  • We will be adjusting the pick-up schedule on Thanksgiving weekend so Thursday 11/26 and Saturday 11/28 pick-ups will be on Wednesday evening. More details soon, but please mark your calendars now!
  • As the holidays approach, we've added some of our Rutabaga Bodega gear to the extras section in Harvie. Great, unique gifts for veggie loving liberals! We've also discounted the 100% organic cotton, grown and sewn in the US tea towels for y'all.
  • The Lost Line returns (turns out Colin had a prior engagement last Saturday - sorry if you were looking for him this weekend), with breakfast burritos and onigirazus on Saturday. Remember to pre-order via Insta @thelostlinenola.

Be well!
