Rivendale Farms CSA Newsletter, Week 1 (June 12)

Hello and welcome to the 2018 Rivendale Farms CSA. Honestly, we are so excited that you have chosen to eat from our farm this season. Thank you, thank you (we will probably be thanking you a lot this season!). Our farm crew has been working hard to get ready for this opening week of the CSA, and it's with plenty of satisfaction that we can say we made it!

In this week's picture is Susanna Meyer, my lovely wife and the farm's Crop Production Manager. She's standing by our trellised cucumbers in the greenhouse. These will be available throughout the summer. So start planning to use them in creative ways. Each newsletter will have some recipe ideas for various produce. We hope that helps you enjoy both familiar and new veggies this season.

Enjoy your first box and remember you can always edit your preferences and box contents over the weekend.

We hope that being part of our CSA inspires you in some way--to eat healthier, to know where your food comes from, and to be in touch with the seasons.
