We have been taking advantage of some extra time we have to take care of some ditch maintenance in the high tunnels. Keeping the water flowing where it needs to go is so important on the farm. And YES, those are some beautiful late tomato plants! We should start seeing some fruit from them within a month or so. It would be impossible to have tomato plants look this good in the field this late in the season especially with all the rain we have had. The high tunnels keep the leaves dry which greatly reduces disease and pest pressure.
