We got the ground perfectly ready for planting. No weeds, organic fertilizer dialed in and smooth as glass. Brussel sprout planting commenced and things seemed to be progressing nicely. Then 45 minutes into planting a crazy storm came and dumped 2 inches of rain in less than 30 minutes undoing much of what we had prepared and drowning the plants (which we came back the next day and dug out of the mud).
Dancing with the weather can be tricky. Ya never know if it's gonna be naughty or nice. Persistence is key.
