Farm Happenings for November 30, 2023

Posted on November 24th, 2023 by Steve Young

I still have produce available so I decided to have one last delivery for the season. This week deliveries will be open to all pick up locations and home delivery. The selection is not as robust as in warmer times but I'd love to have a home for some of the produce I do have. The one heated greenhouse here is still operating but with evening temperatures dropping now I won't be able to keep the furnace running much longer. So this most likely will be the last official delivery until next spring.

I'll still have eggs, my pasta, honey, and maple syrup available all throughout the winter. If at anytime you would like to purchase any of these items send an email to me to place your order. I'll make arrangements with you at that time to deliver the order to your home.

The fields are all plowed and ready for a winters rest. Actually I look forward to getting a bit of rest myself. However, being one who likes to keep busy the thought of rest is not the highest on my priority list. There's still so much to do in preparation for next summer I'm sure to find plenty of things to keep myself from getting dusty.

I wish you all a joyous holiday and a most peaceful winter. I'll be looking forward to being back in touch with you next spring for the 2024 growing season. Thank you all for your kind support and for using my produce in your home cuisine.

Best regards,

Farmer Steve
