Farm Happenings for July 7, 2021

Posted on July 4th, 2021 by Ben Sayler

Hope you had a great 4th of July Weekend! We spent time as a family and I took Griffin and Maggie to catoctin creek for lunch and a swim. We caught a few crayfish, skipped rocks, and tubed down some rapids. The weather was perfect and nature was fully alive. It was a nice escape from the busyness of the farm.

Summer crops continue to ripen and we have some new items, including bell peppers. We were surprised how quickly everything is growing and to already have full grown peppers. Must be the good soil, all the warm, sunny days, plenty of irrigation, and lots of love.

We do our best to get every order correct, but sometimes an item is missed and not in a box. We have tried many different systems and even double check every single share. If you ever have any issues with your order, please let us know so we can make it right and at least credit your account. If we don't know about it, we can't remedy it and we want to make sure you are happy with our produce and service.

The farm is very productive right now and we want to make eating local as affordable as possible for you. We have reduced prices on many products that we have a lot of, including zuchinni, squash, cucumbers, and bunched greens. We thank you so much for supporting our farm and glad you can share in the bounty with us!
