Welcome to Week 2!
We hope you enjoyed your first week with us. Cherry tomatoes are rolling in this week, so we have plenty to offer. Also new this week is cauliflower and chard! We are pleased as can be to have an abundance of tomatoes and cucumbers right now, as last year we lost ALL of our early tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers when our greenhouse heater went out on a cold night in early April. We will never take advantage of these early crops again!
We want to introduce you to our amazing crew this season. Pictured are Nick and Mary pruning tomatoes, and we also have Nicole and Rachel on the farm, and Judy drives our deliveries (pictures of the last three are coming!). They have varying backgrounds but are all attracted to the outdoor, physical work, the good food and our farm's mission. We are so lucky to have them!
