Citrus season is right up there with tomato season for our household! We love adding fresh grapefruits, Myer lemons and kumquats to our favorite dishes or just our morning tea. Each year during this time we make the drive to Montevallo several times and harvest citrus from our friends at Spring Creek Farm. The grapefruits are always the first to ripen, which many of you enjoyed in your last share delivery. This week we will be offering Myer Lemons. We also invested in a few citrus trees ourselves a few years ago and they are just starting to produce and we look forward to larger harvests in the years to come.
