Transition Time! We are planting cool weather crops outside to make room in the nursery for the mid Summer Crops like Zucchini, Melons and the second generations of Tomatoes, Peppers, and Cucumbers. When the weather doesn't permit too much outdoor activity, we are preparing the indoor hoopp beds for the first Tomato transplants. I am holding off on the indoor transplants until the overnight temps get out of the 30's. The Onions go out as soon as I get the beds ready.
Tomorrow, is auto renew for our Harvie CSA Members. Just a heads up, in case you want to make any changes to your account. The sign up fee is just 2 deliveries, whatever level you are, not the 25% of the total Summer session. That should make it easier for everyone; you still have the option to pay in full for a 10% discount.The Summer CSA runs from May 2, through September 4.
Note: Harvie will be collecting the fees on April 15!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street indoor market from 3:00-6:00. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday I am at the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery in Grand Ledge from 11:00-12:00 noon. please see the attached menu and let me know if I can help!
