April 27th is Onion Day!!

Posted on April 26th, 2024 by Lindy Clark

Hello Everyone!!

Super important!! Saturday April 27th is Onion day!! We would love to have any help we can get with getting those in! The more people are able to come, the quicker we'll be done! We're starting at 9, bring sunscreen, water, and probably a jacket! We will have our Easy-ups set up low to the ground so that we won't have too much issue with the rain! We'll have doughnuts for those who come as well as $15 coupons that can be used towards your farm shares or at the farmers market for anything in our booth!

We have been working hard all week, we've been planting strawberries, getting irrigation and water lines set up to water our greens, strawberries, garlic, tomatoes and peppers that'll be going in this coming week, not to mention for the onions that'll be going in in just a couple hours! We also got a new batch of baby chicks and we butchered a bunch of the first set on Saturday! We got a new vacuum sealer to package the chicken and we're excited about that! To say we've been busy is an understatement! We've only been inside to eat and sleep all week!

This coming week we have 300 tomato plants that need to go in the ground, and 6-700 pepper plants that also need to go in the ground! With that in mind, we won't have bread on the menu this week. We will have more salad/greens this week though!! We're excited to see everyone, and we hope this finds you well and happy!

Sincerely,

Your Farmers, Ben and Lindy Clark
