Happy Easter!!
We hope that everyone is able to see or be with loved ones and eat all the delicious food this Easter! We are going to be here at the farm enjoying some ham, veggies and potatoes with some cinnamon rolls for desert!
Our next batch of baby chicks arrived in the mail this week as well as 19 turkeys!! We are so excited to see how they grow up!! The turkeys are going to look like wild turkeys, and it will be cool to have them around here all summer! Our greens are looking fantastic and will we think be ready for the next delivery in two weeks!! We have peas, radishes and beets in the ground and we're just waiting to see them sprout! Our onions are growing nicely and should be ready to plant by the end of this month outside, and we couldn't be more excited!!
April is going to be a busy month for us, we're going to have strawberries going in in the middle of the month, we're going to be butchering the first round of baby chicks, and then we'll also as mentioned, be planting our onions! If you're interested in coming to help, let us know via text, email, or just let us know next week at the pickup! If you do come out to help out, you will get some lovely vitamin D, and we will also be giving out some coupons for discounts on shares! I'll be sending out another email to let you know about specific dates and times when we get closer!
This week we'll have the usual delicious sprouts and micro greens, we'll also have some frozen products, as well as potatoes, onions, and bread! We're excited to see you all at the delivery!
