Happy Spring!

Posted on March 31st, 2023 by Stacey Taggart

What a difference a week makes!  Mason and I shot a video last week and there was still a foot of snow on the ground...  Today it's almost completely gone!  (There's a lot of mud in its place, but that's better than snow this time of year! haha!)  If you missed the video, you can check your inbox for our April newsletter. In the video, we were letting you know that our first Spring shares will look a lot more like winter shares...  That means more prepared foods like sauerkraut and potato soup, as well as some stored root crops.  But we will have some spring greens as well as sprouts.  If that's not what you're looking for in your spring boxes, we get it, but unfortunately, it's the best we can do with the lingering winter weather and temperatures we've had.  If you want to put this pickup on hold, you can contact me and I can do that for you and you can get more veggie goodness later in the season when the offerings are more to your liking. ;) Good news though!  We planted earlier this week (finally!) and so we're crossing our fingers that our next spring shares will look a lot more like spring.
