Happy New Year!
As with most of us we are glad to put 2020 behind us, and move on into a new year in 2021. There are a LOT of big changes coming for the 2021 year on our farm. First, and foremost, we are going to try raising out some steers from the herd we graze in the summers. We are still working out the logistics, but come late 2021 you can expect to see grass-fed beef on our store. We are also thinking about raising some pigs, most likely Kune Kune grazing pigs. Plus our typical eggs and more chickens! So a big year for us on the farm front.
Secondly, we are looking at building a new web store to make it simpler for everyone to make their purchases each week, as well as do subscriptions for eggs. We are just starting to work that out, so expect to see something new in February or March!
Deliveries To Continue
We have made the decision to keep going with deliveries direct to your houses for the next month. While Covid-19 case loads are finally starting to move in the downward trend again we are planning to continue to help everyone self isolate and reduce exposure risks and spread. So for the month of January we will continue to deliver to your homes, free of charge. We will address the issue again in February based on what the province says and where the Covid-19 case counts and load is at provincially.
