Farm Happenings for Week of June 10th

Posted on June 14th, 2019 by Sarah Rider

A few housekeeping things this week....

Boxes: Yes! We can reuse the boxes that your share came in. Please gently break down and return the following week to your pickup site. Clean egg carton returns are welcome, too.

Missing Items: Please make sure you read the label on your share box. First of all, please make sure your box has your name on it. Secondly, check the label when you pickup. Eggs and other items that might not survive in the box maybe packed/stored in a separate location. We are working on a better system to make sure it is clear and easy to follow, but the exact procedure will vary from site to site. However, if anything is missing, please contact us immediately so that we can remedy the situation.

On Farm Pickup Hours: We are realizing that with the customized shares, the market-style pickup needs more hands on help to make it run smoothly. Our on-farm pickup hours are going to shift so that we can have staff in the farm stand while members are here.  On Farm pickup hours are now:

Early Week - Tuesdays: 2 - 6 pm. At 6 pm, shares will be pre-boxed and available for pickup before noon the following day.

Late Week - Fridays: 2 - 6 pm or Saturdays: 8 am - noon. If you need to come later on Friday, or earlier on Saturday, please send us a note before 6 pm on Friday and we'll box your share for you to pickup self serve. Text message is fine 443-686-9786 (remember to include your name!).

We  have our own organic, pasture-raised chicken back in stock! If you have a delivered share and would like to order chicken (or any of our meat) the best way to do so is through our online store

U-pick Update:

  • Tuesday through Friday: daylight hours
