Managing your Share

After receiving this email, you will have until Monday evening at 10:00p.m. to customize your share, or add on extras.  After that your share is set as we need time to plan the harvest, then harvest, wash, and pack your share.

If you need to change your delivery location please follow these instructions, I am not able to change locations, place holds, or make other changes to your share for you:  https://harvie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001542514-How-to-reschedule-change-a-delivery-location-and-hold-a-share-

Here is the link to HARVIE university, it is full of excellent help files about setting preferences, making swaps, buying extras, placing holds and much more.  If you have a question, you can likely find the answers here: https://harvie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/115000048773-Harvie-University-Members

On the farm We pride ourselves in pushing the seasons, and because we farm all 4 seasons, we can plant a great deal earlier then most small-scale farms.  For instance, we planted carrots and beets in the greenhouse in February.  You’ll be enjoying the rewards of that shortly.  We are getting to sample the first few cucumbers, and zucchinis of the season, and boy oh boy you should see our tomato plants.  We planted these in April, a great many weeks before the final frost of the season.  We believe in eating in season, but are happy to use planning, and scale appropriate technology to smudge those lines a bit.

Here's a snap shot of this week on the farm:

We sweated through 40 degree heat, and shivered through a 10 degree morning today.  Our poor veggies are in for three nights of 6 degrees.  We put in 800 sweet potatoes, and are currently working to plant our famous ginger. The snap peas are flowering, and the potatoes and parsnips have finally sprouted.  The first outdoor zucchini is blooming, and so are the strawberries.  We only suffered minor damage from the intense storm on Thursday, and got more rain then we've had all season.  The soil is most, the crops are thriving, our days are long but they are full; we are grateful to be able to farm for you in this beautiful place.
