Pictured Above: Juan Carlos, one of our full time Tractor Operators transplants brassicas that will be harvested this Winter.

We continue to pull dry beans and have started threshing some varieties.  Many or our Winter Squash are ready to harvest and cure and we may even have some Buttercup Squash available next week. Baked one up and it was super delicious.  The creek continues to have enough water to irrigate, though we are definitely being very conservative about what we water and how much. Lots of dry farmed tomatoes!  If you want to can, freeze, or sauce, now is the time.  We've put 20lb cases up for sale in the extras category.

Up to our ears in fruit!  This week's product spotlights:

Arlet Apples- Golden delicious & Idared cross. Intense complex flavor, sweet, spicy undertone. Aromatic, good for cooking.

Sunrise Apples-Yellow background, red stripes. Good sweet/start balance. sweeter over tart compared to the Pristine. White flesh, juicy.
