There's a learning curve with a greenhouse, and a downside to only sending out bags every other week. We have lots of greens ready for the week in between! Since I don't know what else to do, we're opening up a farm stand to get a little greens restock to anyone interested. We have arugula, lettuce, spinach, and bok choy. There will be more of all (maybe not lettuce) available in our deliveries May 5th so not to panic, but if you've eaten through your goodies from last week we're happy to restock you. We're offering pick-up at four of our locations on April 28th (the week in between CSA deliveries): Farm, Picton Central, Belleville Downtown and Belleville YMCA. This time the minimum order is just a bag of greens, instead of the usual mixed veggie bag. That way it's easy to top up your fridge supply and enjoy an extra salad this week!

About the farm
Heather and Stephanie have been running Fiddlehead Farm since 2012 in Prince Edward County, Ontario. With a small team of employees they are ecologically growing twelve acres of tasty vegetables. Selling veggies year round, they pack up shares in spring, summer and winter seasons.
While they grew up in cities it is their shared passions for good food and the environment that led them to start their own vegetable farm after studying in ecology and politics. They started with a modest group of farm shares and a handful of farmers' markets. With the help of family, friends, and a dedicated following of both veggie box members and market customers the farm has steadily grown from its humble beginnings.
