We have finally received some good rain here. We have been waiting on this rain for a while so that we can put in our fall cover crops. If we tilled with the soil being as dry as it is I think we would lose have of it to the wind.
Our intern arrived on Monday and has already been a big help. Courtney has been helping with getting shares ready, weeding and seed harvesting. My goal is to help her learn lots while she is here on the farm and pass on some of the knowledge we have gained over the years.
