The first week of CSA is here and we have been really busy getting ready for a great 2020 CSA season. This heat has been great for our vegetables they growing by leaps and bounds. Lots of stuff has been coming up early and I think it will be a great year for tomatoes! We have lots of greens and radishes this week. Soon we will have peas, daikons, turnips, poc choi and much more.
We did have a bit of an accident on the farm this week. I was running after our young goat that had gotten out and of course i didn't stop to think maybe it would be a good idea to put shoes on. Right as I grabbed the goat I stepped on a nail hidden in some straw. I will say that I kept a hold of the goat until Carey could come and grab him.
