Welcome back!
We've got some new crops coming in right on schedule, as some of our summer crops continue producing, and others finish up for the season. You missed out on the cantaloupe harvest while on break but the bugs got the plants so hard that you didn't miss anything real good.
New crops of squash, cucumbers, and various greens are coming in. We are getting more crops planted every week for October into December.
You may see two more names in communications about the CSA. Eric has been working for us all year, recently taking on some of the deliveries, and he is now learning how to use the Harvie system. Sally Baker Williams is taking on a role of helping with more of the computer and office work, and correspondences including questions and problems you may have. We will be using a new email address sycamorebendfarmers@gmail.com with Harvie.
