Our spring potatoes are harvested! Since y'all don't have preferences set for potatoes, make sure to subtract or add more as you prefer. We don't have many, just enough for this week.

Tomatoes are peaking, I'm going to set 2 lbs as the standard quantity for this week. We have two beds of squash/zucchini which are overlapping so that is also at a peak. Cucumbers are taking a break, but hoping for a rebound. We've got another planting in for September. Eggplants are off to a surprisingly strong and early start after being chilled for so long in May. Sometimes I will be putting Thai eggplants in some boxes, which are little round green ones. Easy to cut into quarters, then cook up tender in a skillet or in a soup (or Thai curry...). Cherry tomatoes are strong, and peppers and okra are still developing.

The sweet potato planting has rooted well. We are now preparing for fall crops - ordering seeds, getting seedlings started, preparing beds. I hope to open the Fall CSA signup in the next couple days.

For greens, kale is at its peak. We did a late crop of lettuce which is really nice to have in July. Italian dandelion greens are doing well, as are collards. We've seeded a bed of radishes, arugula, and other salad types that can handle the summer heat.
