Hello CSA friends,
Today is the last day for the summer crew. The rest of our student workers finish their summer employment and will start classes on Monday. The good news is that all six summer student workers will continue part time in the fall semester. The other farm leadership and I have enjoyed a particularly strong, committed, and capable crew all summer.
In other news: this has been a huge week of harvests. We harvested about 4000lbs of potatoes on Wednesday afternoon with more still to come. We also brought in more of a beautiful crop of watermelon and cantaloupe. And, of course, we will pull in another couple truck loads of tomatoes this afternoon as well. Tis the season!
