Posted on November 29th, 2021 by Daybreak Growers Alliance

Hello Daybreak members! As we move into December we will be running Auto-renew for 2022 Farm & Butcher Box deliveries. If Auto-renew is ON in your account your subscription will continue and you will receive the same boxes and add-ons that you are receiving now without any interruption in deliveries. You can manage your subscription in your account here while logged in to the system. If Auto-renew is OFF your shares will stop at the end of December 2021.

We have some new Add-on Shares of Apples, Fermented Foods and Tofu that have been available for the last couple of months - if you'd like to include any additional add-ons to your deliveries you can order those here.

If you'd like to discontinue a Box or Add-on share you can do so while logged in to your account here or from the Subscription tab by choosing Cancel Subscription --> choose an order --> select Partial or Full --> choose the share you would like to stop receiving. See Subscription screenshot below.

Email farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com if you'd like assistance making any adjustments to your deliveries.

Introducing Maine Crisp

Daybreak Growers Alliance is happy to offer you Maine Crisp products!

Maine Crisps are delicious snacks made with love from the best possible natural ingredients around — all responsibly farmed and carefully selected. Naturally gluten-free.

The love of a good food adventure drives Karen’s story. Karen began experimenting with a baking endeavor, crisps, a cracker made in a biscotti-like process. Inspired by her trip to Aroostook County, the quality of Maine sourced buckwheat, and the opportunity to develop a new product, Karen baked her first batches of crisps in the home kitchen. Licensing the space soon followed, and quickly the Getz kitchen and sunroom became production, packaging, and shipping stations all at once. Support from co-ops and natural food markets in Maine gave her the confidence to apply for external funding and she soon received financial assistance from Slow Money Maine and Coastal Enterprises Inc. With this momentum the business was able to move from the home kitchen to a vacated restaurant location in downtown Waterville, Maine. Maine Crisp is now a family operated company with Karen, her husband Steve and their daughters all contributing to the success of the business and providing these delicious crisps.

Karen’s Cranberry Almond Crisps received a sofi Award in 2018.

Enjoy!
