Update from North Branch Farm

The farmers at North Branch Farm are Seth Yentes, Anna Shapley-Quinn, and our children Ada (10) and Elwyn (6). In addition to winter storage vegetables, we grow young fruit trees for Fedco Trees, beef cows on pasture, organic pick-your-own highbush blueberries and organic apples—we use a combination of hand, horse and tractor power. We're making an effort to take some down time this winter, and for us that looks like: enjoying greens from our family hoophouse, caring for and playing with our horses, skating, sledding, and packing veggies and cheese off to Daybreak Growers Alliance, Waldo County Bounty, and Good Shepherd Food Bank.
