Week 17
Our Fall greens are shaping up nicely, and it seems like our Summer items are still holding well on the plants with all the dry weather. It's looking like this week we are in for some rain (much needed), but it will definitely slow down things like melons and tomatoes, so we will see how long they will hold out. In the next couple weeks we expect to be harvesting more greens like chard, kale, dandelion, radicchio, lettuce, broccolini and baby bok choi and roots such as onions, turnips and radishes. After a couple months this Summer without the greens, they are a welcome addition to our weekly offerings.
