Fall is here and we are on our last batch of chickens outside on pasture. Usually with the chicken they always look exactly the same, but this time we got one bird who has a lot of black and grey in him. It gives us something to talk about when we do chores and we are always looking for him.
Sign up is open for winter spring chicken share, we will have inventory in our freezer and will be raising a couple of small batches of birds in the barn in the winter. We'll replace the pasture with lots of hay and straw.
