Apples!

You may not know this, but we do not grow apples here at Cooper's. There are many reasons why (too many things already, soil type, weather, etc.) but for me personally, the are a ton of work! SO I leave apple growing to the true 'orchard lover'. We have a farming friend just outside of Nestleton, Prima Orchards, Rami and his dad have 10 acres of a variety of apples the he grows and sells to us. Local farmers working together! They use heirloom varieties and very little pesticide and inputs. That means the apples are smaller and have some blemishes. Large perfect apples are sprayed 18-20 times a season. This is his first pick and the variety is Clear Transparent. Pictured above.
