It's time to customize your share for next week~~~
How exciting! We are starting to transition into late spring and summer veggies. This week we have an assortment of PEAS coming in-- Sugar Snap, Snow and English Peas. A few CABBAGES are starting to trickle in (one of my personal favorites) and the first ZUCCHINI have appeared! We'll be rolling in tomatoes and eggplant before you know it.
If you are hankering for more STRAWBERRIES, I know of a great Pick-Your-Own opportunity. Our friends at Buffalo Creek Berry Farm in Lexington, GA offer "U Pick" strawberries on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9-5 through July. Husband and wife team, Cameron and Laura, welcome you to visit their beautiful 23 acre Certified Naturally Grown berry farm nestled among pine trees and pasture. They provided some of the yummy strawberries you've had this season, and this summer they will bring us a bounty of blueberries! They say it's best to give them a ring (phone number is on their website) before you come out so they can make sure the pickin' is good.
