Hello Members:
Quack! What a WET week! Harvest was a labored and slippery event, but the quality of the crops is great. Our pea patch is not the most vigorous we've ever grown, so we are expecting a reduced harvest, but hoping we'll be wrong. The Collards that we added to the list this week, on the other hand, are some of the nicest we've ever seen for early spring, a time when leafy brassicas are not usually at their best. We hope you are enjoying the harvest thus far, green as it has been. More and new items are coming soon. THANKS! to all of you who have returned your boxes to your pickup site (folded flat, no tears!). That really helps our distribution effort.
