Thank you for another successful season!

Posted on September 29th, 2023 by Daniel Zimmerli

It's hard to believe it's already the last week of the regular season CSA and what a season it's been. Each season has it's own set of challenges and successes and this season was no different. We want to sincerely thank you, our CSA members, for your support this season. Seeing the excitement for each weeks share and hearing about what you're cooking and eating are so rewarding and fulfilling. Thank you!

As we often do this time of year we start dreaming about next season. As you already know (if you don't check your email!) we are making some significant changes to our 2024 season. In addition to the logistical changes we will soon be pouring over seed catalogs and networking with other farmers for new inspiration for 2024. A couple things come to mind already:

  1. More robust successions of mini-broccoli meaning more mini broccoli available for your shares more often.
  2. Updated growing method for watermelon. We have an idea in mind that we want to try for next seasons watermelon which will hopefully ensure a good crop of yellow watermelon.
  3. New growing method for our tunnel tomatoes. We hope to have a better supply of both heirloom and regular table tomatoes next season and have some ideas on how to achieve that.
  4. Establishing a new strawberry patch.

We'd love to hear your ideas too. You can fill out our season end survey here to let us know your thoughts. Find it here: https://forms.gle/rJwgseLeen7s16qZ7

Again, thank you for your support this season. We appreciate you!
