Meet our 2022 Farm Crew!

Posted on June 8th, 2022 by Daniel Zimmerli

Our small farm employs a small crew of farm hands each season to help us with almost everything we do on the farm. From weeding, to transplanting to pruning, to packing CSA shares and selling at our market stand, our farm hands do it all. They are an integral part of our farm and we really couldn't run this farm without them. Many of you will meet them and get to know them over the course of the summer.

Caitlyn

Caitlyn is back for her third season at our farm. She had been in one of our full time positions but has started her own cut flower farm Stone Hearth Farm & Garden and has reduced her hours so she can focus on her farm. We've also partnered with her to offer flower shares for our CSA members. Caitlyn started working on our farm to learn how to farm herself and we're so proud of the farm she's started!

Maddie

Maddie back for her second season on the farm. Maddie was in our part-time position last season and we are thrilled to have her in one of our full-time positions this year. You'll see Maddie at the farmers market and CSA pickups throughout the season. Maddie is finishing up her masters in biology with a focus on aquatic invasive species. So cool!

Gunnar

Gunnar is our only brand new farm hand this season and holds our second full time position. Gunnar recently graduated from St. Olaf College and had managed the campus farm at St. Olaf previously. You'll see Gunnar at the farmers market and our CSA pickups throughout the season.
