Only 2 weeks left in our spring shares and it has been a great green season. But it's time for some color and the flowers are beginning to do just that. The hills around us on the farm are bursting with bright yellows and wispy flower reminding us that summer is right around the corner. The tomato plants have bright green fruits waiting for their debut in our salads, sandwiches, and salsa. The peppers and eggplants are close behind to join our summer tables.
Don't forget to cut some fresh herbs and flowers from the cinder block beds when you come pick up your shares this coming week. If you are a pick up location member, come by on Wednesdays 10-1 or Saturdays 10-4 to enjoy the same benefits as farm pick ups!
Our hens also want everyone to know they have been working very hard on their egg laying! remember to take a second to look through all the delicious extras that we have to offer.
