Finally, the waiting is over!

Well folks, here we are at the beginning of the 2020 CSA season. We've planned, prepped and planted. We've sown and cultivated in hopes of reward and now the fun begins. We have 2 tunnels full of tomatoes, the strawberry patch is bursting with young fruit, the summer squash and cucumbers are loading up on the vine, and the lettuce is almost growing as we watch. We couldn't be more excited to offer you the fruits of the farm this summer. Although things are looking good around here, it is still relatively early in the season. This means that the variety of items is still limited to mostly greens and some root veggies like radish and turnips. The carrots are growing, but they're still a few weeks out, tomatoes too, and of course one of the biggest delights of summer, the watermelons, are still quite a ways away. But that's alright until then we'll just enjoy what items we can get our hands on and look forward to what comes next. This time of year it's exciting to see what new crop is ripening every week.

Please keep us posted with any questions you have about your shares. This is our first year with Harvie, and so far they have been very helpful and thorough with everything. But the reality is, there are a lot of moving parts, with fluctuating changes as the seasons progress and there is a possibility for some human error. Please rest assured that we will do everything we can to make your experience pleasurable and rewarding. We want you to receive the best food and experience from our little farm and we are working hard to make that happen. Please feel free to call, text, email, stop by our booth at the market or pay us a visit at the farm (with advanced notice).  Again, we look forward to offering you lots of good food this summer, and we look forward to seeing all of you soon!!
