Happy Final Farm Share week for this season! Everything related to Farm Share happens 24 HOURS EARLIER than usual. Please remember to pick up on Tuesday, same times, same places.

Our Winter Farm Share starts Dec 3 and sign up is on Harvie.farm ...log in and click on "Place Order" to continue to have a share with us through the winter.

We decided to do the unprecedented and offer you Certified Organic Butternut Squash grown by our friends instead of us! We've never offered anyone else's vegetables before, but here's the quick story: Our friends trial varieties of different vegetables for their Certified Organic seed farm located at Twin Oaks in Louisa County. This year they grew thousands of Butternut Squash as part of their research and now have these delicious fruits available. But they are a Seed Farm, meaning they grow and sell seeds through their catalog. They don't go to market or have vegetable customers. They asked if we'd be willing to connect their Butternuts with our customers and we said Yes. We don't have any Butternuts of our own to offer, and we believe some of you all would enjoy them. So, enjoy away! They are among the options for your share this week.

THANK YOU for enjoying what we've grown this season. Despite all things amok in the world, 2020 has been a good year to be farming. We renewed our gratitude for our professional lives taking place outside, the weather was overall relatively good for farming (a little drought, a little monsoon, but not too bad!), and our community support has continued to be phenomenal. We are so thankful for you all!

We are truly a community supported farm and we are so grateful that you all have chosen us to grow food for you. It is an honor and a pleasure, and we look forward to great farming in 2021!

Blessings on your meals, and KEEP ON masking up and washing your hands, plus staying home whenever possible ~

Janet, Dan, & the whole Broadfork crew (Julie, Caity, Karen, Ray, Diana, Rachel, Mare, and the kids: Sylvie, Joren, Elletta, and Beckett)
