Farm Happenings for July 10, 2020

Posted on July 7th, 2020 by Christina Houston

Happy Tuesday in July!! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Independence day weekend with their family and friends. On the farm, we are saying good-bye to some of our crops and welcoming new ones. We are happy to have many of you in our third month of the season. If you have any questions or concerns, please email myself, Christina, at chouston@bma.us

This week we have a small amount of raspberries by the 1/2 pint that will be on sale for $2.00 each and just enough for each one of our customers on our CSA list. As the season progresses, we will have many chances to get more, as well as a U-pick in between deliveries. We have lots of cucumbers, so we will have a sale on those. For every $1.00, you will recieve 3 cucumbers. For the zucchini, they will be listed as a $1.00 each due to the large size, or you will recieve 2-3 small ones to equal the same size. Our summer squash and tomatoes are doing really good, too. Our golden beets are almost done, but we have our red beets starting to catch up. We also have red onions from one of our neighbor farms! Thank you for your support and have a great week! Please remember, our pick-up time is on Friday, July 10th 2pm-sunset when the store closes. If you need a different pickup time, please email me to discuss a more suitable time to keep your items fresh.

Blessings!
