Tomato Season is now starting to slow down & it's starting to feel like fall! Go figure we'll have a rainy fall! And yes, us farmers will always have something to say about the weather! haha Mother Nature truly is our real boss!
Our heat loving melons had a rough go this year. They are fruiting now, however this wet cool weather brings on disease for them. I'm still hoping for a harvest, but it's not looking great. What is looking great is our fall broccoli and cauliflower. Hopefully they start producing in the next couple weeks! And winter storage carrots and potatoes look amazing! Our summer potatoes were nothing to be proud of, but the fall crop should be very bountiful and beautiful! Wahoo!
All and all this cool weather is amazing to work in and the kiddos are loving the puddles!
