Week 6 is here already! We've packed up lots of boxes but there's still a great selection of tasty, organic produce in storage and the greenhouses. This week will have an amazing assortment of choices for your week 6 menu. Frozen pesto made this summer from our organic basil by Abby, a local culinary hero, will be available. Plus, other frozen fruits and veggies from our organic fields. Due to the increasing daylight our chickens have started laying again so there'll be a limited number of our organic eggs with the real yellow yokes. 

Since we've got such a great supply, we'll be offering a BONUS prepacked box for an additional pickup on Saturday, January 13 from 11 am to 1 pm. We'll be able to do 100 shares on a first come, first served basis. The prepacked box will have 3/4l lb. spinach, 2 bunches Swiss Chard, 1 bunch kale, 1 head Bok Choy and 3 lbs. of sweet potatoes. The cost will be $30, payable on pickup by cash or check. If interested, send us an email at walkerfarmvt@gmail.com to get on the list. We'll have to stop at 100 boxes so if interested act fast!

Thanks so much for supporting our farm, our crew and local organic growers! A lot of us would have liked to see more snow, but the warm December made for easy driving and comfortable outside work.
