Walker Farm 2023 Fall/Winter CSA Update & PICKUP SCHEDULE

Posted on November 18th, 2023 by Jack Manix

Welcome to our 2023 Fall/Winter CSA. Your first pickup will be on the weekend of December 2/3, 2023.

SATURDAY PICK-UP 11 AM to 2 PM if you are signed up for a Bread Share OR if your last name on the account starts with A through F

SUNDAY PICK-UP 11 AM to 2 PM if your last name starts with G through Z AND you do NOT get a Bread Share

Unless you have notified us that you would like to switch days, that will be the schedule. We want to box up your veggies as close to pickup as possible so everything stays fresh! When you receive an email on Sunday, November 26, you will have until Tuesday to swap around items on your list for other available selections or you can simply go with what the system chose for you according to your preferences. Sometimes there may not be enough of one particular veggie to go around and Harvie will randomize how it passes them out. Your share has a certain value each week according to the size you selected. There is a little padding in the system but if you swap for something that has a higher value, after a certain price point you may see a small charge on your credit card. Also, if you need to add more (say for a family visit) from the extras list, you'll also notice the price for that on your card. Preferences can be changed at any time if you want to adjust what you receive in your share. Not everything is available every week as we like to mix up the menu to keep things interesting. If you have any questions about anything you can go through the Harvie Helpdesk or write us a note at walkerfarmvt@gmail. See you soon!

Here's a video we made a while back during the bad Covid years that shows the route to take for your CSA pickup. Masks are of course optional now and we're happy to put the box in your vehicle for you and take the previous week's empty box:
