Farm Happenings for November 26, 2019

Posted on November 21st, 2019 by Shiloh Avery

As we enter the season of giving thanks, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the land that has given us so much and fed so many people, for the young folks that stayed with us this season and worked their tails off to feed so many people, for you, the customers, whose amazing support has kept us here doing what we love for 12 seasons, for the opportunity to take a true off grid break from the farm and enjoy some warm weather this winter, for our friends and family who got us up and running all those years ago, for each other in our 16 years of marriage and business partnership that we still enjoy each other's company, for our farmer friends who stepped up and grew the things we've just never been good at growing (sweet potatoes, fall potatoes, sweet corn, etc.), and the list goes on!  I love thanksgiving.  I love the whole idea of stopping to be grateful for all that we have. So let's eat!

Much gratitude to y'all.  Have a wonderful winter.  We are going off the grid for December more or less, but you'll start hearing from us again in January!  We're looking forward to an even more fantastic 2020!

Your humble farmers,

Jason and Shiloh
