Farm Happenings for July 11, 2023

Good news!  Our blueberries turned out to be a bust, but our neighbors at Blueberry Hill Organics have blueberries for us!  Yay for the Thompson family!  Still going strong in the zephyr squash, cucumber, zucchini departments and we're seeing some coloration in peppers, so it won't be long before those sweet beauties enter our lives. This is probably the last week for the spring things like kale and carrots, but beans have arrived and we'll keep salad going all summer with afternoon misters to keep it cooled down and growing, plus we seed and plant it every week (see photo of several week's of salad mix in the greenhouse).  The blog went on vacation this week, but the farmers did not.  Enjoy your harvest this week!
