So many exciting things that we don't grow this week!  I coerced Will Thomas of Creeksong Farm to provide us with some sugar snap peas, and the second week of our partnership with Catawba Mushroom Partners brings a few Lion's Mane mushrooms to the mix this week.  Supplies are still limited, but growing a little bit every week.  Creeksong Farm is not certified organic, but Will's parents Jeff and Betty started the farm in 1979 and have been growing organically "since before it was cool". From their website: "We began raising produce to sell at the Watauga County Farmers' Market in 1979. Since that time we have never used chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or chemical pesticides." You can check them out at https://creeksongfarm.com

We're in a little tomato production gap as our greenhouse tomatoes fade and our field tomatoes haven't really started cranking yet.  Of course, the plan was to have continuous tomatoes until fall, but....alas, farm life. You never know what's going to happen in any given year, despite our best efforts to mitigate any effects of weather.  It keeps us on our toes!

Enjoy your harvest!
